Bereavement Journey Course August 2026

Starting on Tuesday 25 August at 7.30pm, we start our next Bereavement Journey course.

There are 7 weekly sessions with films and discussion for anyone who has been bereaved, whether grieving a death now,  or wanting to explore a previous bereavement that may be unresolved.

This course is for bereaved adults to do their own grief work. It is supported by a manual and facilitated by volunteers (who hold Anchor Point PVGs). Our safe space allows for as much sharing as you like or none at all.

The course material is provided by the charity AtaLoss

The main material is covered in the first 6 sessions and includes topics such as: Attachment, separation and loss | The impact and pain of bereavement| Anger and guilt | Coping with others' reactions| Delayed and suppressed grief| Moving forward healthily |

The course is designed for people of any faith or none. There is an optional final 7th session which offers a Christian perspective on questions about bereavement.

Attendance is recommended for all of the first 6 session although it is possible to join at Session 2.

Reserve a spot  - book here on Eventbrite. Like all of our services, there is no charge for the course.
