Summer Literacy and Numeracy slots are now available to book.These small group sessions offer targeted support to children and young people in P6 to S2 who have suffered some interruption to their learning and/or are anxious about falling behind and maybe about school itself.

Places are allocated on basis of need and initially to young people living in south Glasgow. We can flex on the specified age range – contact us directly to discuss.

All volunteers hold an Anchor Point PVG and at least one GTCS registered teacher is present at each session. Dates and times are flexible dependent on the needs of the child/young person within the weeks 20 July, 27 July and 3 August. 

Support can continue into the new term for any child or young person and their parent/carer who requests this.  Or feel free to use the summer sessions as ‘stand-alones’ to re-build confidence and reinforce literacy and numeracy skills.
